The method

Simply Music is a revolutionary, Australian-developed piano learning method that offers a breakthrough in Music education. This remarkable approach has students of all ages playing great-sounding contemporary, classical, gospel, blues and accompaniment pieces - immediately - from their very first lessons! Simply Music is based on the premise that all human beings are naturally and profoundly musical. 

	Simply Music classes are offered around an area of the Wimmera encompassed by Horsham, Stawell, and Rupanyup. Traditional students are welcome as are total beginners. Lessons are conducted on an acoustic piano with access to a digital from time to time. She currently teaches an age range from 5 to people in their seventies usually in group situations. Lessons are dynamic, interactive and fun.

Piano parties are offered regularly throughout the year in students homes and other venues to enhance community playing and confidence. Her studio has grown from 1 to 40 students in three years mostly from word-of-mouth.

Recent events led by Unmani include the successful Nati Frinj Arts Festival ‘Play piano in 10 weeks’ project in October 2011 where a group of beginners have staged a concert with less than 10 weeks of lessons covering compositions, a moving improvisation about the Natimuk floods, duets and accompaniments. They played blues, classical and popular styles in this amazing concert. Natimuk is located in the Wimmera region about 15 minutes from Horsham.

Free introductory Piano Lesson sessions (approximately an hour in length) are run regularly in various venues within Horsham and the Wimmera. Contact Unmani to book in for the next time and place. These sessions provide you with a history of the method, an example of it’s teaching methods, what it has to offer, fee scale, how it differs from other methods and much else.
