An evening with Kerryn Fields

After her memorable concert here in June Kerryn is returning for another evening of great music, fun and her own inimitable style of entertainment. Kerryn's poignant and powerful songs sung in a rich and smooth baritone and her unassuming string-plucking virtuosity leave her audiences uplifted and wowed. And she recently won the prestigious 2019 NZ Country Music songwriting award.

This time however she will be playing for us in an exciting new performance space especially designed for music. Local music teacher Unmani, with help from two amazing builders and husband John, has created a music building to die for. The building named 'Meera' is spiral shaped and has been built using a new building technique called 'super adobe'. The thick curved walls and vaulted ceiling give wonderful acoustic properties to the interior space creating a 'surround sound' experience. Please come and enjoy the first concert to be held there.
